About Nevin W. El-Nimri OD, PhD, FAAO
Nevin El-Nimri is the Medical Science Liaison in Vision Care for Topcon Healthcare. Nevin received her optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 2014. She earned her PhD in vision science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. Her PhD research focused on investigating the mechanisms underlying the increased risk of glaucoma in myopic patients. Nevin finished her postdoctoral fellowship
at the University of California, San Diego focusing on optical coherence tomography angiography and was involved in studies designed to improve the detection of glaucoma damage in myopic eyes.
